Auckland Transport (AT) is delivering the Auckland Level Crossing Removal Programme to enhance rail safety and improve operational efficiency. This transformative programme will remove level crossings and provide alternative access solutions to reduce delays and safety risks for road users and pedestrians.

The programme will be delivered under a comprehensive procurement strategy and structured into multiple stages, including station access bridges, Takanini road crossings, and the Western Line Level Crossing Removal (covering Inner West, Mid West, and Outer West segments).
