Auckland Transport (AT) is undertaking a strategic procurement to implement a modern Facilities Maintenance and Renewals system that will support the organisation’s long-term goals in operational excellence, sustainability, and digital transformation. The new system will be a scalable, cloud-based platform designed to streamline facilities management processes, enhance data governance and integrate seamlessly with AT’s existing enterprise systems such as SAP and SPM.
This initiative will enable automated work order management, improved compliance tracking, and real-time performance insights, contributing to more efficient asset lifecycle management and service delivery. The procurement approach includes a two-stage, closed tender process, with supplier selection based on capability, integration, innovation, and alignment with AT’s strategic priorities.
The market for facilities management systems is mature and competitive, offering a range of configurable solutions tailored to public sector needs. AT expects strong supplier engagement and will prioritise solutions that demonstrate technical excellence, proven delivery, and support for sustainable procurement practices.
Implementation is targeted for November 2025, with the selected system expected to deliver long-term value, operational resilience, and improved stakeholder outcomes across AT’s infrastructure portfolio.
