This Request for Quote (RFQ) is an invitation to submit your proposal for the carpark and driveway upgrade at the Tāhuna Marae, Waiuku to improve the safety of the Marae. This project is located within Tāhuna Marae, located at 54 Tāhuna Pa Road, Karioitahi 2683. It will provide Auckland Transport (AT) with an ideal opportunity to create specific Māori business opportunities and contribute to the Māori economy.


The scope of work comprises the construction of an approximately 1310m² reinforced concrete carpark area adjacent to the existing Marae building. The carpark works will also comprise the construction of grassed swale drains (approximately 160m²)   and associated stormwater reticulation, a new paved accessway (approximately 176m²)  with kerbing for the pedestrian and pram users. Streetlights will also be installed to illuminate the carpark areas and will be connected the existing Marae power supply.
