The Total Mobility Scheme assists eligible people with long term Impairments to access appropriate transport to meet their daily needs and enhance their community participation. To meet future demand, the present Total Mobility fleet size has to increase in size. This invitation is to allow new suitable qualified Tax Operators to join the scheme.
The Key outcomes that we want to achieve are:
• Enhance Total Mobility operator coverage across the wider Auckland Region
• Eligible customers are able to access appropriate transport quickly, be transported safely and be treated with dignity
• Ensure that the operation of the Scheme itself is effectively managed and that
• Suitable systems and processes are embedded in operators' organization's.
Auckland Transport is looking for NEW TAXI OPERATORS with Small Passenger Service Licenses to join this scheme and we look forward to receiving your submissions.
