Land Mobile Radio Network Solution

Purpose

The purpose of this Advance Notice is to update Land Mobile Radio Network Solution providers of the revised timeline for our Request for Proposal (RFP) to supply, maintain and support Auckland Transport radio operations, and to seek feedback on our market approach.

Background

AT recognises that the ongoing Public Safety Network RFP represents a considerable investment of resource and is therefore seeking feedback on the revised timeline below.

AT also seeks to gauge the level of interest on the proposed Land Mobile Radio Network supplier model noted below, which is separated into 3 categories to enable suppliers to submit a proposal for 1, 2 or all 3 categories;

1. Supply and support of handheld devices
2. Supply of radio network
3. Support of management platform (WAVE)
