The purpose of this notice is to communicate to the AT Physical Works Panel One the intention to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Park and Ride @ 80 Great North Road, Warkworth.
The main elements of the RFP include but are not limited to:
• Construction of the carpark and associated works including facilities for 131 car park spaces;
• Cycle and motorbike parking;
• Two toilet blocks;
• A bus layover;
• A signalised pedestrian crossing;
• A bus stops on SH1 directly outside the park and ride site;
• Footpath connections;
• Lighting and CCTV within the carpark;
• Two raised pedestrian crossings at each end of the facility;
• A rain garden with a timber walkway; and
• Line marking and signage.
The estimated cost of construction is in the range of $3.0Million – $3.5Milion.
It is anticipated the RFP for this opportunity will be issued on Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) on week commencing 18th January 2021.
It is anticipated the contract will be awarded on week commencing 22nd February 2021.
