Overview

The purpose of this Advance Notice is to communicate Auckland Transport’s intention to release an open market Request for Proposal (RFP) for contract 302-21-103-PS, Northwestern Bus Improvements – Detailed Design Package 1.
Depending on final approvals and COVID alert level, it is anticipated an open market RFP for this opportunity will be issued on Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) in late November 2020.
This advance notice is to inform potential suppliers of an upcoming procurement opportunity (open market RFP) to deliver detailed designs for a) Bus Shoulder Lane Extensions, (b) Te Atatu Road Interchange and (c) Lincoln Road Interchange. For context, the Northwestern Busway improvements Indicative Business Case and Detailed Business Case are accompanied with this notice.
The IBC and DBC & related appendices are not yet fully in the public domain and parts remain confidential to AT. Professional Service Suppliers who intend to respond to the RFP, including consortia, are requested to fill in and sign the confidentiality agreement attached with this advanced notice to obtain copies of the IBC and DBC.

The advance notice on GETS will be kept open in case there are any further notices to issue prior to the RFP release. The RFP will be released on a separate open market GETS process.
