Auckland Transport is committed to ensuring the security and safety of its staff, customers, members of the public and AT facilities. AT requires provision of highly skilled and proactive security guards and patrols for static and roving coverage at Public transport facilities and related facilities.
On occasion, the AT contract provider may be required to coordinate with other contracted Security providers across the Auckland Council Family of organisations in order to best facilitate common outcomes for specific operations or Major Events.
The services provided will be defined through a strategic intent (understanding the Security threat to AT), operationalised through close coordination between Security Provider Operations Management and Auckland Transport Operations Centre (ATOC) and delivered by best practice process and procedures at the tactical level.
