This Request for Tender (RFT) is an invitation to Panel Two members of the Physical Works Panels, to submit a tender for the Ti Rakau Drive Bus Lanes and Ti Rakau Drive / Gossamer Drive Intersection Improvements.

This is a single-stage procurement process and will be evaluated using the lowest price conforming method (LPC).

The works will comprise of introducing bus lanes on Ti Rakau Drive and intersection changes at Ti Rakau Drive / Gossamer Drive to improve queue times on Ti Rakau Drive and nearby streets as well as improving realiability and punctuality of bus services.
In summary the works comprise of:
• Peak hour bus lanes on Ti Rakau Drive between Gossamer Drive, between Wheatley Avenue and Gossamer Drive.
• Remove right turns at the Edgewater Drive (east) intersection with Ti Rakau Drive.
• Introduce two right turn traffic lanes into Gossamer Drive from Ti Rakau Drive.

The expected start date for this project is the week commencing 25th March 2019.
