Intent
The Auckland Transport Alignment Project (ATAP) and the Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP) have identified a series of investments upgrading key arterial roads, improving the overall public urban realm and street environment focused on:
•Bus Priority Programme – whole of route improvements to support the new network;
•Safety programmes – including overall safety improvements in urban corridors, speedmanagement and targeted safety improvements;
•Walking and cycling programme –development of business cases and implementationof business case activities; and
•Network performance – optimising the network to enhance productivity and safety of corridors.

The Integrated Corridor Delivery Programme includes 11 prioritised urban arterial road corridors split into 13 corridors. Each corridor and supporting transport system will require public transport, walking and cycling and safety upgrades, including overall public realm enhancements.
