Overview

Following on from Auckland Transport’s Regional Land Transport Plan market sounding exercise, Auckland Transport wishes to engage with the industry on specific programme activities.
Purpose
The purpose of the market sounding is to gather market opinion of Auckland Transport’s proposed delivery model, supplier selection method and scope for the Integrated Corridor Delivery Programme. Please refer to the attached market sounding questionnaire and also a briefing presentation for background information on the proposed content and structure.

Auckland Transport seeks to gain alignment with industry capability and expectations regarding procurement and delivery where improvements in value for money and meeting strategic objectives are proposed. Participants should see the Integrated Corridor Delivery Programme Market Sounding process as an opportunity to inform the delivery strategy of the professional services drawing on past experiences and future challenges.

Conditions
Please note that Auckland Transport is only seeking participants with relevant skills and experience in Business Case and Detailed Design development for arterial corridors, incorporating bus improvements, safety and walking and cycling. Also note that Auckland Transport is not seeking:
• Corporate marketing or capability information;
• Information that is general in nature;
• Intellectual property that respondents do not want to make available for Auckland Transport to use for whatever means or purpose that Auckland Transport sees fit, including potentially making it publicly available.
This is not a procurement process and Auckland Transport are not expecting unsolicited proposals to be provided via this process. The information provided by the market sounding participants will be recognised as guidance only. Participation in the market sounding will not influence or impact future tender evaluation.

Timeframes
Auckland Transport intend to conduct Market Sounding meeting sessions on Wednesday 22nd, Friday 24th, Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th August 2018. Meetings will be around 45 minutes each and a meeting protocol will be sent out prior to the meeting. Auckland Transport are happy to meet on an individual company or consortia basis. Please email Amanda.Yeung@at.govt.nz with your preferred date and a time will be allocated to you.
Please email your questionnaire response to Amanda.Yeung@at.govt.nz by 12pm Friday 31st August 2018.
