Auckland Transport has a planned programme to enhance safety, security and amenities at Metro train stations and terminals region wide, as well as bus stops, minor improvements at stations, wharves and provision of PT information.
As part of this programme, there will be a requirement in coming years (subject to funding) for the provision of new and replacement bus shelters across the Auckland region.
Auckland Transport is seeking, through this RFI, to:
a. notify potential suppliers of this opportunity; and
b. obtain information from suppliers who believe they may have the capability to fabricate and/or supply bus shelters to Auckland Transport. Included with this RFI are reference documents that provide a general overview of the type and specification of shelters that Auckland Transport may seek to procure in the future. These documents should be taken as a guide only and are subject to change.
• This does not include the installation of shelters: this RFI is for fabrication and/or supply only.
• Potential suppliers of bus shelters should also be aware that there would be a requirement to provide a secure storage facility capable of holding up to 30 shelters at any one time.
Suppliers who are interested in this opportunity should confirm, in writing, to email@example.com Attn: Will Savage Re: Bus Shelters Fabrication and Supply RFI, no later than 5pm Tues 20 March 2018.
General company information and capability statements specific to bus shelter fabrication and supply should be included.
Please note that this RFI does not constitute any legally binding obligation between Auckland Transport and suppliers and does not commit Auckland Transport to any form of procurement.
