Industry Engagement NEXT STEPS

Auckland Manukau East Auckland Transport Initiative (AMETI) Eastern Busway Panmure to Pakuranga (EB1) Construction

Thank you to those who attended our briefing last week, the first stage in the AMETI EB1 industry engagement process. The presentation from the briefing is uploaded with this GETS notice and a Q&A forum has now been opened for any questions that you may have relating to the briefing itself or any part of the procurement process and timeline that was shared.

AT advises that the GETS Q&A forum will remain open until the end of August, 2017 and all correspondence as part of the EB1 industry engagement process will occur through this forum only.

We will shortly invite a number of you to attend individual interactive sessions with us (approximately 90 mins). These sessions will provide an opportunity for you to provide us with your thoughts on the procurement process and proposed contract structure and delivery approach. These sessions underpin our stated collaborative approach to the EB1 procurement process and will help refine the EB1 procurement strategy to best meet the requirements of the project and the market’s ability to respond.

Following the interactive sessions and approval of a refined procurement strategy, the procurement process will continue with a Registration of Interest (ROI) process that is planned for late 2017, followed by an RFT to shortlisted participants in early 2018.
Whilst not a compulsory part of the procurement process, your participation in the interactive sessions is encouraged and your feedback welcome. We look forward to engaging with you in the next step of this important project.
