Description of the Works

The contract works will connect proposed cycling facilities at Tristram Avenue Motorway Interchange with end of Currys lane. The work includes:
• Traffic management
• Setting out and service verifications
• Site clearance and tree removal
• Earthworks
• Service relocations
• Shared path construction
• Retaining wall construction
• Street lighting works
• Drainage works
• Traffic signs & road markings
• Associated miscellaneous works and reinstatements
In accordance with Auckland Transport’s prequalification procedures this contract has been classified as Major Road Works level AT1B. Only those contractors prequalified to or above this level are eligible to submit a tender for this contract.
