RFP 312-16-179-PS Newmarket Laneways Streetscapes Upgrade
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued for Auckland Transport (AT). The aim of this process is to award a Contract for supply of a consultant team to provide professional urban design services for a streetscape improvement project within the area of Newmarket bordered by Broadway, Khyber Pass Road, Crowhurst Street and Teed Street.
The project is an action falling out of the Waitemata Local Board (the Board) initiated Newmarket Laneways Plan (the Plan). The purpose of the Plan is to manage and plan for the expected growth of Newmarket as a Metropolitan Centre (under the Auckland Plan), to ensure the character, heritage and vitality of this community is retained.
This RFP sets out to identify a Tenderer who will be able to best provide AT the following:
The Consultant shall be the lead design consultant for the Project and shall be responsible for coordinating the design activities of all their other sub consultants as required, to ensure that the design progresses in accordance with the agreed programme and achieves the key objectives set by Auckland Transport.
