We require a recommended approach and budgetary pricing for the replacement of AgResearch’s corporate computing infrastructure. The corporate infrastructure is distinctly different from the research infrastructure which is managed on a separate platform.
The response to the RFI will allow us to agree on an approach and move forward to the second phase, which will be to issue an RFP. The options that we are considering include:
• A public cloud approach that meets our ‘cloud-first’ direction
• An on-premises approach
• A hybrid cloud/on-premises approach.
AgResearch would like to understand the latest innovation and technologies available in the marketplace, best suited to our transformation and strategic goals.
