Auckland Council is looking for café operators to establish a café at the Nathan Homestead which is located within the Manurewa Local Board area.
Nathan Homestead
Nathan Homestead Pukepuke, is an Auckland Council owned heritage arts and culture facility.
The homestead hosts art events, exhibitions, workshops and private functions. Nathan Homestead had approximately 80,000 visitors in the 2024 financial year.
Currently, Nathan Homestead is undergoing renovation as part of the seismic upgrade and capital programme. After the renovation is completed, Nathan Homestead will be open to public in November 2025.
The opening of Nathan Homestead café coincides with the 100th anniversary of this prestigious heritage arts and culture facility.
Nathan Homestead has a space suited for a café operation to enhance the visitor experience.
The proposed activation of the café space is intended to provide an amenity and convenience for the community and visitors to the Nathan Homestead.
