The purpose of this RFT is to invite Tenderers to submit their Tenders for the construction of the Lagoon Edge Reserve as part of Eke Panuku’s “Unlock Panmure” programme with a vision to create a vibrant centre that is a great place to live, visit and do business.
The Lagoon Edge Reserve is currently in a poor state of repair, is dominated by the adjacent busy Lagoon Drive and Eastern Busway and sandwiched between a carpark and the fenced off Lagoon Pools.
This project provides the opportunity to create additional recreational space by realigning the existing pool fence and relocating the existing public toilet facilities, improving sightlines, and significantly raising the level of amenity and recognition of the cultural identity in the area.
The aim is to create an urban park with considered interface with the water’s edge, establishing an attractive recreational destination proximate, and well connected to the Panmure main street.
