Auckland Council (the council) owns the sites located at:
• 55 Lawrie Road, Warkworth
• 141 Rustybrook Road, Wellsford
Auckland Council is looking for a Supplier to share the vision of zero waste by 2040 and offer practical steps to achieving this goal. A successful Supplier will demonstrate an integrated approach to delivery of resource recovery services that achieve the required outcomes specified in this REOI.
The council is looking for expressions of interest from community groups, non-government organisations and businesses to deliver community waste minimisation education, resource recovery and residual waste disposal services at these two sites, by one or more organisations at each of the sites.
Council’s required outcomes are specified in the requirement section of this document and describe the expected level of performance and/or quality required.
The aim of this REOI process is to obtain information from potential Suppliers regarding their organisation and ability to provide community waste minimisation education, resource recovery and residual waste disposal services and to contribute to the required outcomes. This will enable Auckland Council to select Suppliers to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process which will include a Supplier proposal presentation to council.
