Notice of Intent to Issue REOI Waste Digitisation (Advance notice only)

The purpose of this advance notice is to inform the supply market about the upcoming Request for Expression of Interest(REOI) for Waste Digitisation in the week commencing 20 June 2022. This will be issued to the open market through GETS.

Auckland Council wishes to advise interested participants that it will be releasing an REOI for the provision of a fully integrated web-based end to end Waste Management Solution that integrates with Auckland Council’s existing internal systems to enable the Council continue to compete in the market and enhance our capabilities to serve our customers better. The solution needs to include capability/functionality for both bin asset management and Request for Service/Request for Information, as a minimum requirement.

We seek the establishment of a comprehensive Waste Management System (for management of bin assets) that can integrate with a complete Digital Waste Requests for Service and Requests for Information system that will enable a complete end to end automated digital experience removing the need for manual intervention.

For this REOI, interested parties will be required to submit information on the solution they can offer the council along with information on their capability and track record, and an approximate cost estimate for their solution.
