We need a lead consultant and design team for a new integrated community facility and upgraded reserve in Northcote. The facility will be situated on the site of the current community buildings adjacent to Cadness Reserve. The existing library is heritage listed and will be incorporated into the design.
The design will build on the years of planning, community engagement, and development projects that are currently underway in Northcote. This includes Te Ara Awataha greenway jointly developed by Eke Panuku and Kāinga Ora, and the master planning work that has been carried out so far by Eke Panuku.
The process will also require working with a wide range of stakeholders including Eke Panuku, Auckland Council, Kaipātaki Local Board and Mana Whenua to develop the design brief and concept designs.
The approved design will then be taken through to construction.
