Auckland Council Healthy Waters Design Office is an internal design team that provide stormwater infrastructure design services to the Healthy Waters capital delivery programme. Topographical survey services are required as the basis for stormwater design and construction works as part of this programme.

The Healthy Waters Design Office is seeking to establish a flexible term agreement with two professional surveying contractors for topographical surveys of high quality and consistency. The Healthy Waters Design Office is interested in those companies that can bring innovation that will enhance the quality or efficiency of the survey work undertaken.

The required works included in the term contract may include:
 Topographical survey
 Stormwater and Wastewater asset survey / inspection (e.g. manhole: invert; pipe diameters; pipe orientations; etc.)
 Bathymetric survey for ponds/wetlands and sediment survey

This is the first stage of a multi-stage Open Tender and all professional surveyors are invited to participate. This ROI is to invite interested parties in the supply market to register their interest through GETS and fill in the assessment questionnaire attached to this tender.

Shortlisted surveyors selected from the ROI stage will then be invited through SAP Ariba, Auckland Council’s tender management system, to submit a response to the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) document. A shortlist of suppliers will then be invited for a closed tender Request for Proposal (RFP) to select the preferred two suppliers for this term contract.

Note: If less than 5 surveyors participate in this ROI, this process we would move directly to the RFP stage
