This RFI seeks to obtain information from organisations about the potential supply of conservation services to Auckland Council.

The information will provide more clarity around the size and capability of the supply market and to also understand which parties may be interested in competing for future conservation service contracts. Contributions may be used to inform decisions on council’s conservation service requirements when developing and implementing future contracts.
Council wants to learn more about the capability and capacity of providers to supply and deliver the goods and services relating to conservation services including biosecurity pest and pathway management, and community engagement.
We are interested in hearing from respondents who have knowledge and experience providing goods and services specifically related to conservation services.

This Request for Information (RFI) is being done in response to supplier feedback to Auckland Council regarding the way in which our services are being procured. This RFI is our first step in addressing the issues raised by suppliers.

This is part of the process being used by the Auckland Council to consult and gather relevant information to inform future decisions on service requirements, service design and procurement. By responding, you can help inform us about the sector you operate in and provide us with a greater understanding of the service delivery options and solutions available in the market both now and in the future.

This RFI will NOT result in a contract being awarded, nor will it be used to exclude or pre-qualify respondents. Participating is optional, and not responding will not preclude any supplier from participating in any future procurement opportunities that may arise at Auckland Council.
