Auckland Council invites Registrations of Interest, from suppliers having the relevant experience and capability to participate in a tender for Stormwater Separation Works at Okahu Bay, Auckland. The location and brief scope of work is provided below.

The works are located in Orakei in an area approximately bounded by Kupe St, Kepa Road Ngaio Street, Grace Street, Coates Avenue, Titai Street, Tamaki Drive and the Oarakei Domain. The works involve separation of stormwater and wastewater from an area which is currently drained by use of combined public and private pipe systems. The work involves installation of approximately 3,500 metres of new public stormwater pipes ranging in sizes up to 675 mm, installed by a mix of trenched and trenchless methods. These pipes are to be installed in public roads, walkways and parks as well as some pipes in private properties. In addition there are approximately 230 properties, mainly private residential, which require separation of their onsite combined private drainage system and connection to the new or existing pubic stormwater network.

In order to qualify to be invited to participate in this tender, suppliers must confirm the following:
1) Experience in delivering infrastructure projects of a value greater than $10 million
2) Experience in delivering projects of a similar nature to that of the Okahu Bay Stormwater Separation Project.
