Kotahi is Auckland Council’s intranet, servicing 8,000 plus employees with news, information, and access to a number of other systems in our digital workspace. It’s also referred to by our Council Controlled Organisations (CCO).
Research conducted and feedback from our people has shown that Kotahi is no longer fit for purpose. Auckland Council therefore requires an upgrade of our intranet platform Kotahi to make the most of our size and scale, ensure it’s a fit for purpose tool and it empowers our people to do their best work.
This is an open, two-stage procurement process, first stage will be an open Request for Expression of Interest (REOI), to be followed-up by a closed Request for Proposal (RFP) for shortlisted REOI participants.
For now, Auckland Council is open to any solution through this REOI. The solutions submitted will then be evaluated by a Panel to determine a preferred approach.
Auckland Council is also investigating an in-house build which considers resource capacity, cost and the platform that can deliver the requirements of this project.
