Auckland Council intends to issue a Request for Proposal to select suitable suppliers to provide overflow services for Building Warrant of Fitness Audit and Inspections.

Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) audits are part of the Council’s legal requirement to check BWOF process onsite.

The service requirements include:

- To carry out and record onsite BWOF audits to determine form 12As have been correctly issued and the required maintenance and inspection regime is being carried out in accordance with the compliance schedule.
- Upgrade and amend compliance schedules in accordance with the new requirements under the Building Amendment Act 2012.

In order to be invited to participate in this Request for Proposals, participants must meet the following preconditions:
1) Must not be currently undertaking LBP or IQP work within the Auckland Area.
2) Must not be currently acting on behalf of an owner for a building that is subject to the BWOF process within the Auckland area

The Council will undertake verification of the information provided and invite acceptable participants only to participate in the Request for Proposal.

Interested companies are requested to register their interest by submitting a completed Registration of Interest form on the template attached to this Notice by Friday 16 November 2018, 5 p.m.
