This Notice of Information informs interested suppliers of an upcoming Auckland Council - Request for Proposal (RFP) and provides you an opportunity to register on our new platform SAP Ariba.

Auckland Council is seeking potential suppliers who can provide Aotea Great Barrier Island Waste Services as part of meeting the objectives of the recently adopted Waste Management Minimisation Plan (WMMP).

Auckland Council is seeking a holistic approach to achieving zero-waste objectives, preferably through a single contract for all waste services, as listed below:
• Community Recycling Centre (CRC);
• Community engagement and education;
• Landfill operations;
• Haulage of materials off-island;
• Inorganic collections and processing;
• Roadside refuse and recycling collections;
• Visitor and boatie waste services;
• Illegal dumping services.

Suppliers who have registered in SAP Ariba by the due date, will be invited to the RFP and will be able to view the full tender documents and submit a response.
