Auckland Council is refreshing the technology used by Governance to support political processes, with a view to providing a modern consumer grade experience for Elected Members, Democracy Services and wider staff.

The solution(s) will provide functionality to support the following:

• Support for Elected Members:
o Creation of documentation & workflows – reports, approvals, agendas, meeting minutes, action points
o Running meetings – Electronic voting, electronic attendance
o Information dissemination to elected & appointed members & support staff
o Electronic storage of documentation and where appropriate making available in a searchable format to the public
o Searchability & reporting
o Electronic forms & associated workflows
• Hearings process
• Gifts & declarations
