Auckland Council is commencing a significant programme of works to upgrade Hayman Park in Manukau. The key outcome sought from the programme is to create a high amenity recreational area that will attract a wide age group to the park and provide an open green public space for Manukau Central. A masterplan for Hayman Park has been developed by Wright Athfield Landscape Architects (WALA) and approved by the local board.
This Request for Registrations of Interest is concerned with the construction of Phase One of Stage One of Hayman Park upgrade. Phase One of Stage One will activate the park boundary with Davies Avenue between MIT / Manukau Rail Station building and Ronwood Avenue, with the creation of new playground areas, a half ball court, a kiosk and toilet amenity building, plaza and feature architectural canopy.
Auckland Council is seeking expressions of interest from contractors who are experienced in the construction of high quality, architecturally designed playgrounds and passionate about the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of Manukau city centre and local community.
Interested suppliers are requested to respond to this Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI), by providing their responses to the questions in the Response Form, attached to this REOI and providing any supporting information. Your response must be uploaded to this REOI in GETS.
This is the first stage of a two-stage open competitive tender process. A maximum of four participants will be shortlisted and invited to participate in the RFT. Any participant receiving less than 50% in any attribute will not be considered.
Suppliers shortlisted from this process will be invited to respond to a full Request for Tender, which will be issued through Auckland Council's ARIBA platform.
Participants (not already registered in ARIBA, and approved as suppliers for Auckland Council) are requested to register their organisation by following the process provided in the document named: ARIBA Supplier Guide-Registration, provided with this REOI.
