In partnership, with the Auckland Council Group, ATEED (Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development), Crowe Horwath and Te Puni Kokiri, we invite you to register your interest to attend the upcoming “E Tipu, E Rea - Maori Business Growth - Building, Construction and Services” scheduled for June 24th 2016.

This is a trade-only workshop for potential Maori-owned suppliers* of the following products and services:

• Infrastructure;
• Building and facilities construction and maintenance services;
• Security surveillance and detection;
• Professional services businesses;

*Suppliers should either be able to provide a broad range of services or be a technical expert in a specific area, with ability to work with other contractors to provide seamless service across a portfolio of sites.

Key Presentations:

1. Auckland Council Group – Community Facilities
The Auckland Council Group manages and maintains a large number of community assets. These are the largest Local Government facilities maintenance contracts to come to the market in Australasia. The planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of these facilities is significant and covered by a number of contracts scheduled to expire June 2017. The anticipated value of upcoming Community Facilities contracts is circa $120 million per annum. The Auckland Council Group is interested to build productive and positive relationships with committed and capable suppliers in preparation for a market engagement process planned for August 2016 – March 2017.

2. Auckland Council Group – Procurement
Gain an understanding of the procurement process and understand how to become a supplier to The Auckland Council Group.

3. ATEED – Business Support
ATEED, in partnership with Crowe Horwath, will provide you with practical information on how to access Auckland Council business support services, tools, resources, networks and expertise.

This event will also provide businesses the opportunity to meet and greet employees from the Auckland Council Group, some strategic suppliers, and representatives from the support organisations
