Auckland Council manages and maintains a large number of community assets. The planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of these facilities is covered by a number of contracts scheduled to expire June 2017 (please refer to attached document). These are the largest Local Government facilities maintenance contracts to come to the market in Australasia. Council is interested in building productive and positive relationships with suppliers in preparation for a market engagement / tendering process planned for August 2016 – March 2017.

We are inviting all interested suppliers to a Market Briefing to discuss the following topics:
• Lessons learned from current contracts
• Structuring future Council contracts
• Management of minor capital works
• Achieving improved consistency across Council family
• Timing of go to market

Meeting Details:
When: Thursday, May 5th at 1:00pm-3:00pm
Where: Mangere Central Community Hall, Main hall - 241 Kirkbride Road, Mangere, Auckland
Who: Current and new suppliers* of services listed Appendix 1
*Suppliers should either be able to provide a broad range of services or be a technical expert in a specific area, with ability to work with other contractors to provide seamless service across a portfolio of sites.
