Overview

Environment Canterbury, on behalf of the Canterbury Mayoral Forum, is seeking proposals from suitably qualified multidisciplinary consultant teams to develop a Canterbury Blue-Green Network Plan and Supporting Implementation Guidance. The project aims to establish a region-wide strategic framework for identifying, protecting, restoring, and enhancing nature-based solutions that support climate resilience, biodiversity, community wellbeing, and low-emissions outcomes across Canterbury. The successful supplier will undertake spatial analysis, stakeholder engagement, GIS-based planning, and preparation of implementation-focused tools and guidance to support future decision-making and investment across the region.

This work forms part of Action 4 of the Canterbury Climate Partnership Plan and will support a coordinated regional approach to climate adaptation through the development of a strategic Blue-Green Network framework for Canterbury.
