The New Zealand Aid Programme is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide design-build services for a programme of upcoming Pacific Activities with services expected to include:
- Design, build, commissioning and integration of solar photovoltaic, power conversion and battery energy storage systems into diesel-powered grids.
- Design, build, commissioning and integration of control systems for the monitoring and control of existing and new, centralised and distributed generation and battery energy storage systems.
- Network transmission systems, both grid connected and mini-grids.
- Refurbishment of existing electrical assets.
This openly advertised ITQ will establish a Pre-Qualified Supplier List (PQSL) and represents the first stage of a two-stage procurement process. The PQSL will initially be established for a period of two years. Organisations admitted to the PQSL may be invited to a series of second stages involving Request for Tenders to deliver specific Contract Works for upcoming Pacific Activities.
