Nelson City Council (Principal) is seeking to procure a Contractor to carry out flood improvement infrastructure works on the Maitai River and Clouston Terrace. To achieve our objectives, we are looking for solutions which meet our Council values and mandate, core to this is care and respect for our people.
The Contract Works comprise the construction of a new flood protection wall along the Maitai River downstream of the Clouston Bridge, including associated earthworks, riverbank regrading, erosion protection, and reinstatement works. A realigned shared pathway will be constructed and connected to the existing path network. The project will be undertaken within a constrained riverside environment and will require careful coordination around existing infrastructure, including stormwater, wastewater and other underground services. The Contractor shall allow for all environmental management, erosion and sediment controls, and compliance with applicable resource consent conditions and statutory requirements necessary to complete the works.
The Non-Price Attributes should be included in a single PDF file not exceeding 25 pages (excluding cover pages, contents, and any appendices) and must be formatted with a minimum font size of 11 point.
