Bay of Plenty Regional Council invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced tenderers for the design and delivery of flood gates associated with the Whakatāne Future Proof Stage 4A: Muriwai Drive Floodwall Replacement Project.

The objective of this RFP is to obtain specialist expertise to assess, develop and recommend an appropriate flood gate solution that integrates with the proposed floodwall infrastructure and meets the project's operational, safety and resilience requirements.

Tenderers are invited to demonstrate their experience, technical capability, methodology and understanding of flood protection infrastructure, while identifying practical alternatives, innovations, risks and procurement considerations to support the successful delivery of a future flood gate system.

The outcomes of this procurement will inform subsequent project phases, including detailed design, fabrication and installation.
