WorkSafe discussed at the recent market presentation the risk in making the 9th November tender release deadline given some internal constraints. Also, WorkSafe were cognisant that Christmas is looming and had no desire to release a tender over the Christmas Break.

Unfortunately, this risk has materialised. WorkSafe are still able to run the tender this side of Christmas, with a revised release date of 22 November 2018, and closure date of 20 December 2018.

WorkSafe will look to evaluate in mid-January 2019, shortlist and hold more intensive sessions with the shortlisted provider in late January early February 2019.

Fundamentally nothing else changes from the presentation, other than timelines. WorkSafe are still considering a single solution (bundle), integrated solution (consortium), or whether two distinct solutions (disparate) remained the best overall approach.
