Tenders are invited form suitably qualified Contractor's for road marking and raised pavement marker maintenance within the Whakatane District Council boundaries.

The work includes;
 Road Marking
 Raised Pavement Marker maintenance
 Permanent Road Marking Removal

The Conditions of Contract shall be NZS 3917:2013.

The contract works is for two, six-month seasons. Season 1: From 1st October 2018 (or from the date of acceptance if later than 1st October) to 31st March 2019; Season 2: From 1st October 2019 to 31st March 2020. At the Principals discretion, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract for a further three (1+1+1), six-month seasons (Oct 2020 – March 2023).

The Desired Outcomes from this Contract works are:
1. Full delivery of each agreed annual road marking programme
a. To the agreed budget
b. To the agreed quality requirements
c. Within the agreed programme
d. With minimal, valid, public complaints

2. To enhance the Councils reputation within the community
a. By delivering a best value programme
b. By responding effectively and efficiently to customer request for services
c. Through minimising disruption to traffic
d. Through good, clear lines of communication with the Council and Community
