Works for the replacement of existing Blue Rock pipe culvert with 3.5m by 1.5m box culvert within the Whakatāne District. The works are outlined on the drawings appended to the contract documents and generally comprise of the
following activities: • Removal of the existing culvert units, undamaged, • Transportation of existing culverts to Keepa Road Stockpile site • Installation of new 3.5m by 1.5m Culvert units, headwalls and aprons, • Granular pavement construction • Guardrail installation, • Reinstatement of traffic services and rehabilitating disturbed areas, • Earthworks to realign stream outlet and associated stream protection works and • Preparing, implementing and managing the Contract Quality Plan according to the Project Specification.
