As part of the implementation of PC1 Healthy Rivers Wai Ora Proposed Plan Change, farmers in the Waikato and Waipa river catchments will be required to register their farms, maintain a Farm Environment Plan and periodically submit nutrient budgets to council from Overseer or a similar product.

WRC needs to deliver a platform that allows farmers to meet their obligations under the plan. The platform also needs to enable council to manage the implementation of the plan in the long term.
