Te Kuiti and Tokoroa Hospital Laboratories are in need of a Rapid Strep Antigen kit to use as a screening test to aid in patient diagnosis for GP’s. Throat swabs are only sent to Waikato Hospital for culture once per day. Te Kuiti process approx. 30 specimens per month, Tokoroa process approximately 380 specimens per month.
