W2 is seeking general information from suppliers on the provision of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) services and goods.

We are looking for a solution that will work across all WelTec and Whitireia campuses with the primary objective of meeting the needs of our new Te Auaha campus which opens in March 2018. As part of the process we will be reviewing the existing RFID provisions at our other campuses to develop an organisational wide solution.

Our key objectives are to:
1. Provide a better experience for our customers (students, staff, the public and our SMART Libraries customers).
2. More efficient management of our collections.
3. Maximise collection use.
4. Minimise loss of collection.
5. Provide students and staff with the ability to self-serve.
