Otago University is seeking a device to measure the body composition of live mice. The device must be able to function on live mice thus negating the need to euthanise animals involved and allowing repeated measurements for the duration of a study.
The scanner needs to be able to be used with straightforward quick training so that lots of people can access it. It also needs to be cheap to use and maintain as we expect to be able to use this repeatedly for large numbers of animals.
