The University of Otago is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably experienced and
qualified Main Contractors for the construction of the University of Otago Research Support Facility
located in Dunedin.

The intention of the ROI process is to pre-qualify a maximum of five Main Contractors who are able
to demonstrate the experience, capability and resources necessary to complete this project to the
standard required to meet Ministry of Primary Industry and University of Otago research
requirements.

The successful respondents will have a proven track record in the successful construction and
commissioning of similarly complex laboratory and/or research facilities and demonstrate:

• Outstanding health and safety performance
• Collaborative working with the stakeholders, client and design team
• Working successfully with an Independent Commissioning Agent
• Successful delivery of complex projects on “live” campus environments
• Successful completion of PC2 and PC3 containment laboratories
