The University of Canterbury is intending to construct a new building of approximately 20,000 square metres on the Ilam Campus, Christchurch. This building known as the Regional Science and Innovation Centre (RSIC) will commence construction in early 2015. Early and Enabling Works are shortly to commence to prepare the site.

The University is intending to appoint a Facade Contractor to assist with the detailed design, and supply and install the facade. The Facade Contractor shall work with the design team prior to novation to the main contractor.

It is intended that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in July 2014 on GETS to interested parties with a referral to TenderLink.

There is no requirement for you to respond to this Advance Notice of Procurement.
