University of Canterbury (UC) has decided to replace its current Library Management System (LMS).
We are looking to replace an existing Library Management System with a functionally rich solution that can be easily maintained and integrates seamlessly with the University’s wider infrastructure so we can support the curriculum and enhance the institution’s research activities. The LMS plays a vital role in managing our content and providing access to services. It is crucial that the LMS provides easy functionality and enable management processes for librarians. It should have at its centre the management of electronic and digital materials while remaining able to handle legacy print-based material. It will be a versatile system with the functionality to integrate easily with a wide-range of other local and external systems through APIs, web services, or other standards-based connectors.
