The University requires a sealed-source single-crystal X-ray diffractometer, capable of generating X-rays and collecting X-ray diffraction data from single crystals for use in macromolecular crystallography for our School of Biological Sciences, situated within ourFaculty of Science; a diverse school with a leading structural biology division that utilises single crystal diffraction to investigate the structure of proteins involved in human health, disease, and biotechnology, with accompanying biophysical and drug discovery platforms.
