Overview

The Central Agencies Shared Services [CASS] provide Human Resources, Finance Services and Information Technology to The Treasury, State Services Commission and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, including the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management. CASS is located within the Treasury, based at 1 The Terrace, Wellington.

As part of the CASS Telephony Project we are seeking a replacement solution of the Treasury's existing Telephony system, allowing for unified communications and federated services with other government and non-government agencies.

The solution must have;
1. Cross-domain interoperability functionality to interface with other products and systems for information exchange outside of CASS infrastructure.
2. Allow for Skype for Business interoperability with the Telephony solution in the form of using Skype for Business as a Softphone client.
3. Contact Centre capability, including queue handling, wrap up codes, cradle to grave reporting, wall board display, Skype for business integration, Voice Recording and Disaster Recovery.
4. Reception console capability, including external inbound dial by name or extension, reception staff console with integrated staff directory allowing for one-call dial and transfer plus staff presence and availability information.
5. Enable for future progression towards cloud offerings as mandated by Cabinet under Cloud First and accelerated public cloud service adoption

Items not required;
1. Replacement of our existing Avaya handsets. These will be retained and used under the new Telephony solution
2. External telecommunication managed services for Moves, Add and Changes. These will be retained in house and completed by CASS.
