Statistics New Zealand has embarked on an ambitious four year plan to achieve our vision to unleash the power of data to change lives. In order to achieve this vision we have developed a new strategic delivery model that will deliver our expanded roles as Provider, Enabler, Steward, and Innovator in New Zealand’s data ecosystem. We are now creating momentum to make the model changes we need to sustainably build the capacity, and capability to unleash the value of data at all stages of our work.

Specifically, we are seeking to rethink the end-to-end data and statistical processes used to create the desired outcomes at each stage of our new strategic delivery model, so we can sustainably deliver increased customer value through our core data and statistical offerings. We are seeking fresh perspectives on how we might achieve this significant change at pace given the dynamic environment we are operating in.

We are interested in fresh and innovative ideas on how we can sustainably achieve the outcomes sought. We will be holding information sessions so you can get a sense of how we currently operate, and how we are seeking to change to support New Zealand’s future. We are looking for organisations to partner with us on this journey.
