This Notice is to advise that Statistics New Zealand intends to place a Request for Proposal for a Strategic Partner for Agile Change and Innovation on GETS Thursday 11 August 2016.
This RFP relates to Statistics NZ seeking to establish a strategic partnership to enable the organisation to change the way we operate, and adopt practices that allow us to quickly explore and adapt to customer needs, supported by a more change ready and agile core. We are seeking to appoint a partner(s) who will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support on the adoption of tools, approaches and methodologies and support the organisation to upskill and become self-sufficient.
The key outcomes we would like to achieve through this procurement are:
A Partner(s) who can demonstrate:
• a solution that will be fit for purpose for Statistics NZ’s needs and requirements to establish accelerated change, innovation and agile practice across the organisation. This will include but not be confined to: providing training support and a proposed approach to developing capability, a knowledge transference approach to widening the capability within Statistics NZ and proposing how to approach implementing innovation within Statistics NZ, in partnership with Statistics NZ.
• previous experience in successfully delivering innovation related change into a Government agency in NZ or overseas. It is Statistics NZ’s expectations that you demonstrate this success and how you went about achieving this. Statistics NZ would place high value on testimonies from Government agencies, or bodies, describing the innovation and benefits delivered.
• management of hosting external events , including facilities and tools that would be provided should you host an event (please outline pricing in the separate spreadsheet if there is charging for the hosting).
