Statistics New Zealand (Statistics NZ) is looking for a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to replace its existing Payroll and around fourteen support systems and ancillary information sources, which together make up its HR systems suite.

We are considering replacing our current HR suite of systems, including Payroll. We want to understand what HRIS options there are in the marketplace and what functions they offer, to help us make informed decisions as we firm up the specifications for what we need in an HRIS system to support our business. Through this Request for Information (RFI) we are seeking information from suppliers with an HRIS system they consider may be suitable for Statistics NZ’s purposes.

The HRIS system, especially Payroll, must conform to current New Zealand legislation. The supplier must commit to maintaining currency with any future legislation changes. We want the solution to have a high level of integration between functions, be easy to learn, easy to use, be scalable, and be able to be configured for change.

We would like to receive indicative costs for your solution options (implementation, licensing, maintenance, support, as applicable). A price range approach is acceptable. Any pricing information you provide will not be regarded as a commitment in the event we issue a subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP).

Note that GETS requires us to suggest a price band - above. There is no limitation on the pricing you may submit with your response to this RFI.
